Meeting Information:
The chapter meets on the second Saturday of every month, 10am-2pm at the Friends Meeting Hall, 890 57th St, Sacramento, CA 95819. We strive to create a welcoming, creative meeting place. As the fiber arts have gained prominence, we have expanded our membership to include creative fiber artists in other areas. Contact the chapter president for more details.
Chapter History:
Our Guild was founded by Nancy Miller, a nationally known rug hooker, here in Sacramento on Nov 1, 1998. We currently meet at the Sacramento Friend’s Meeting House. Our members come from throughout Northern California. Some of our members are new to rug hooking and some learned to rug hook from their mothers and grandmothers.
