Meeting Information
Meetings are the first Saturday of each month (unless there is a holiday). Our meetings include some type of learning/teaching/sharing of skills and lots of tasty treats. We love to share rug hooking, and can frequently be seen at local fairs and festivals. Currently, we are teaching beginner hookers with the support of an ATHA educational grant. Contact the president for more details.

Chapter History:
The purpose of the guild is to preserve the best in the tradition of rug hooking and to promote skills through the sharing of ideas and group fellowship. Historically, rug hookers in NH have been part of the League of NH Craftsmen since its inception in 1947 (oldest crafts organization in the US). Rug hookers were active until the 60’s when smaller groups formed throughout the state. in 1992, Hallie Hall, a Contoocook fiber artist, founded White Mountain Woolen Magic with several friends and it became part of the national guild, ATHA chapter 52 in 1997.
