Our chapter is small and our meetings are scheduled as needed… which is pretty often. We enjoy getting together for social and inspiring exchanges, and as little business as possible. We are a lucky chapter in that we have 2 teacher/vendors in our membership:
Brigitta Phy; www.greenvalleyrughooking.com and Laura Pierce; www.flyingdoghookery.com.

History:
In 1996, Claire Miller moved to Sonoma County from Florida. She had enjoyed being a member of the local ATHA Chapter there and looked for a local chapter in Sonoma County. Claire found Janene Archer-Connelly, a rug teacher, and Shirley Harrington and Emma Webber, both known for their rugs. Word was put out to the public and a new ATHA Chapter was formed. Soon other rug hookers found our little group and our membership expanded.
Over the years, our chapter hosted the 2001 ATHA Biennial, demonstrated at the local fairs, brought in many renown teachers for workshops and hosted several popular Hook-ins
